OES TASK 10 WEC modelling workshop (the Ocean Energy Systems by the International Energy Agency) on 14-15 November in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

The workshop was organised by dr. Kim Nielsen (Ramboll, Denmark) in collaboration with the Ocean Energy Systems by the International Energy Agency and WECANet.

 

The agenda included the topics:

 

• Review of validation cases undertaken by OES WEC Modelling

• Modelling techniques used by OES WEC Modelling

• Review and presentation of simulations of the KRISO OWC test case

• Dedicated experimental sphere test cases for validation of numerical models

 

The workshop took place on the 14th and 15th of November at the IBIS Schiphol hotel in Amsterdam.

WECANet offered a grant of (500 EUR/person) for 10 persons and reimbursement of the travel, accommodation and subsistence costs of the workshop lecturers, following the participation information and application procedure as described in the pdf document below.
