2019 INORE’s symposium in Nocera Umbra, Italy

INORE (International Network on Offshore Renewable Energies) is pleased to invite you to the 2019 INORE’s symposium in Nocera Umbra, Italy! You can find the application here. The symposium will take place from the 25th to the 31st of August 2019. Thanks to INORE's sponsors, participation to the symposium is completely free!

The theme of this year is “Bursting the bubble!”, addressing the disconnect that can exist between academic and industrial worlds, between theory and practice, opening additional and new perspectives within the ORE landscape. There are up to sixty spots available for INOREans to engage with peers, academics, and industry in an environment conducive to networking and learning. The symposium will include panel discussions, guest speakers, social events, workshops, peer presentations, outdoor activities, and more.

This year’s symposium will be held in the heart of Italy, in the region of Umbria. However, the initial gathering will take place in Rome to facilitate access for participants. We advise participants to arrive in Rome by the evening of Sunday 25th of August. After a series of visits in and around Rome on the first day (Monday), a bus will take the group to the symposium venue, in Nocera Umbra. On the final day (Saturday), a bus transfer will be provided to take participants to Naples, in time for all those planning to attend EWTEC during the following week.
